Amazing father-daughter bonding between Eric and Rachel: -

Seated at Rachel’s graduation ceremony, Eric took a trip down the memory lane and recalled all the sweet memories he shared with his special daughter over the past 22 years. People usually say being a single dad is not easy. But in Eric’s case, it had been totally opposite. He loved every single bit of being a dad to his little girl.

Rachel was only six when her parents separated. However, it did not turn out to be the typically broken home misery. Rachel and Eric shared wonderful chemistry. All of Rachel’s friends also got along well with her Dad. He was known as the ‘super cool Dad’. They would have cooking sessions together which are actually quite fun. Eric made it a point that they would go for outings together. Rachel would make a nice basket of delectable food and off they would go camping or fishing. Amid the serenity of nature by the lake, forest or meadow they would talk their heart out. They looked forward to these outings the most where they used to disconnect from the rest of the world and discovered themselves. Often the most important conversations took place at these places.

Now that his little is all grown up into a confident, beautiful and charming woman it is time for her to discover the world and fulfill her dreams and ambitions. However, Rachel would always find her Dad, her first hero by her side for all the choices she makes in her life.

Daughters are angels: -

Nothing feels as good as when your little girl throws herself on you when you come back from work. All the tiredness goes away with that hug and beautiful smile. Father-daughter bonding is truly special and unique. Fathers usually believe that angels are often disguised as daughters. They have a special place in the hearts of their dads. Apart from showering unlimited love and affection, fathers play a very important role in bringing up daughters. While mothers tend to the daily routine needs of children and make sure their physical well-being is ensured, fathers are responsible for the emotional development of children. Fathers’ attention is very important for children to be more intellectual, social and emotionally responsible. This becomes even more critical in the case of daughters. Daughters who are raised by loving and caring fathers always feel protected and secure. They are not restrained by societal pressures for they know they have a protective guardian to look after them.

Activities to improve father-daughter bonding: -

Girls are usually more sensitive and reactive. They take things to their heart. The presence of a strong protector in the form of an affectionate father gives courage and wisdom to daughters to face the harshness of the world. It is very important for fathers to be involved in their daughters’ lives. Try to be helpful with her homework and projects. Team up with her and go out for cycling. Play games together for you may never know you might teach her the most important life lessons while playing those games. Talk with your daughter and find out about her interests and passion. Encourage her to pursue her dreams.  Through dauntless support and guidance, fathers help their daughters achieve the pinnacles of success and happiness.
